Mr. Okolisan brings extensive expertise and leadership experience to the Dumas executive team as President, and is responsible for Dumas employee’s safety, strategy, business operations and profitability operating portfolio. He will oversee the strategic growth of the company with a focus on ensuring Dumas operates as the safest premier underground contractor in the Americas.
Over his thirty-year career, Jeremy has held key leadership roles in private and public international engineering and construction firms, with a focus on growing their mining, minerals and metals businesses over the past two decades.
Mr. Okolisan has significant experience serving Fortune 500 management teams and boards in providing business processing re-engineering, strategic sourcing, and management consulting with Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu.
Jeremy co-led the transformation of Byrne Engineering from a modest local operation into a regional player with a focus on serving mining, mineral processing, and energy transition clients. After successfully negotiating its acquisition, he led the growth of the global mining businesses for consulting engineering firms Jacobs, Worley and AtkinsRéalis (SNC-Lavalin).
In his last role leading Kiewit’s North American Mining, Minerals & Metals business, Mr. Okolisan demonstrated leadership in negotiating and executing numerous complex EPC construction projects and engineering studies while significantly growing the business. Over his career, Jeremy has collaborated with executives and senior management at leading mining companies including Rio Tinto, Vale, Glencore, BHP, Teck, Codelco, Freeport-McMoRan, Berkshire Hathaway and many more.
Mr. Okolisan holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Toronto, a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Queen’s University and has practiced as a Professional Engineer (PEO) since 1996.
