PureGold Mine

Dumas has played a critical role in the redevelopment of the PureGold (Madsen) Mine in Red Lake, Ontario. Work began in 2016 under Pure Gold Mining Inc. (now part of West Red Lake Gold Mines), with the goal of restarting production at one of Ontario’s key gold assets.

Since then, Dumas has maintained a continuous on-site presence, delivering shaft dewatering, mine development services, and engineering support. Major activities have included dewatering and refurbishment of the main shaft to 300 m, development of the main ramp, capital development, raising work, and selective cut-and-fill mining in narrow vein stopes. Over 600 m of development has been completed to date, supported by dedicated manpower and equipment to meet evolving operational requirements.
