In May 2018, Dumas commenced work on the Cerro Negro Mine, located in Santa Cruz, Argentina. The mine, operated by Goldcorp Inc. and owned by Newmont, represents a large-scale underground development initiative in one of Argentina’s most significant gold districts.
Dumas provided management support through a team of seasoned underground professionals. This included project Superintendents, Mine Captains, Front Line Supervisors, Training Specialists, and HSE Supervisors. Their mandate was to provide mentorship and operational guidance, ensuring best practices in safety and production to meet site targets.
